Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a: why it's the most popular version

3.3.5a is the most widespread version of private servers. The reasons are simple: balance, volume of content and the best technical base (AzerothCore/TrinityCore).

What does version

• Death Knight from level 55 - a new class and a new style of play.
• Ice Citadel — 12 bosses, Arthas’s final raid.
• Arenas and Battlefields with rating and conquest points.
• Double Major — you can switch roles without a second character.

Raid progression

Normal server path: Naxxramas → Ulduar → Trial of the Crusader → Frozen Citadel. At x1 it’s months, at x5–x10 it’s faster, and this is the main criterion for choosing rates.

What to look for on the server

• Working scripts (check if bosses and quests are freezing).
• Online: As of 3.3.5, a 25-man raid should be assembled in a reasonable amount of time.
• Anti-cheat and dupe protection: economy is the main indicator of server health.

Who is it suitable for?

Almost everyone: a lot of content, clear progression, working tools. That is why the version remains No. 1 among Russian-speaking players.
