Enchanting 1-450: Leveling (WotLK)
Upgrading Enchanting from 1 to 450 on WotLK 3.3.5a: dust, essences and fragments, what to “spray” and how to upgrade as cheaply as possible.
Briefly
The enchant gives the best enchantments for weapons and armor, rings (your own enchant for rings - an increase in stats) and a stable income by dispersing unnecessary gear. Need Green/Blue stuff to spray.

- Strange Dust / Soul Dust / Vision Dust / Dream Dust - 1–290
- Lesser/Greater/Nightmare Illusion Dust - 290–375
- Infinite Dust, Greater Essence, Dream Shard (Abyssal Shard), Cosmic Essence - 375–450
Pumping by segments
1–150
- Enchant Bracer - Minor Health / Minor Stamina / Minor Strength - for cheap braces, many times.
150–230
- Enchant Shield - Lesser Stamina, Enchant Bracer - Greater Stamina/Strength.
230–300
- Enchant Bracer - Greater Strength, Enchant Gloves - Greater Strength, Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense.
300–375
- Enchant Gloves - Assault/Spellpower, Enchant Chest - Major Stats, Enchant Ring - Stats.
375–450
- Enchant Bracer - Greater Assault, Enchant Gloves - Expertise, Enchant Cloak - Mighty Armor, final - Enchant Boots/Weapon Greater Assault.
Tips
- Spell cheap bracelets/gloves - there are always plenty of them at the auction for 1-2 silver.
- Spray all unnecessary drops (Disenchant) - this way the dust is almost free.
- High skill ring enchantments sell best.
Summary
The most “self-sufficient” skill: all you need is a bag of old clothes and patience.
