Review

Thaddius is a flesh titan, the final boss of the Abomination Quarter, made "from the flesh of women and children." The battle is in two phases: first, the raid is divided in half and simultaneously kills two mini-bosses on the platforms - Stalagg and Feugen (if you don’t kill them almost simultaneously, they will come to life with full HP), then the famous jump onto Thaddius’ platform and the battle around the Polarity Shift: “pluses” to the right, “minuses” to the left, charges of the same name buff each other’s damage, charges of the same name explode the raid. Drop of T7 tokens on your feet.

25 Normal~28–30,000,000 (approximately, according to players)
General tips
  • Jump onto the platform: autorun, jump from the edge strictly straight, not diagonally. Slow fall/Levitation or speed potion insures. Missed - run around and enter the battle ONLY after receiving a charge.
  • Stalagg and Feigen should die within seconds of each other (according to the server script, the window is ~5 seconds) - manage their HP synchronously and slow down the DPS at a faster rate.
  • A player without a charge (brez, latecomer) catches damage from both polarities - stand aside until Thaddius releases a charge.
  • FD Khanta, the disappearance of rogues and soulstones before the boss respawns after a wipe, bugs the combat team for the entire raid - classic Thaddius, ban it in advance.
  • Each dead person is a minus damage stack buff for his entire side: raids with corpses more often do not survive to berserk, rather than with low gear.

Combat phases

Phase 1 Phase 1 - Stalagg and Feugen Pool; until both mini-bosses die at the same time

The raid is divided into two equal groups according to platforms: Stalagg on the left, Feugen on the right, each at his own Tesla coil. Every 20 secMagnetization swaps tanks - the healers transfer the heal to the arriving one. You cannot pull bosses away from the coils: when the chain breaks (~28 m), the coil begins to hit the entire raid with Tesla shock. Kill both almost simultaneously, otherwise the living one will resurrect the dead one with full HP.

  • Magnetization (tank swap)
  • Wave of Power at Stalagg
  • Electrostatic field at Feigen
  • Synchronized kill (~5 sec window)
Phase 2 Phase 2 - Thaddius Both mini-bosses are dead → ~12 sec coil overload → boss active

The entire raid jumps from the platforms towards Thaddius. After 20 seconds - firstPolarity shift, then every 30 sec: “minuses” appear on the left, “pluses” on the right, clustered within 10 m for a damage stack buff. The charge has changed - you cross to the other side along one pre-agreed route. They fly in parallelChain lightning, and if there is nothing in the mile-radius -Ball lightning at 17–22k. In 6 minutes -berserk.

  • Polarity shift every 30 sec
  • Stack buff from charges of the same name
  • Chain Lightning
  • Ball lightning with empty mile-radius

Abilities

Magnetization
Tank F.1
Every 20 sec Stalagg and Feugen exchange current tanks: players are thrown through the air to someone else's platform along with their threat (small fall damage ~2k).
Action: The tanks simply continue to tank the arriving boss on the spot, the healers instantly transfer the heal. DPS should not overtake tanks in terms of threat - it will “swap” not the tank, but the top aggro.
Wave of Power
Tank F.1
Stalagg, every ~19 sec: +100% attack speed and +25% damage for 10 sec. Through these windows the Stalag tank catches very hard spikes.
Action: On Stalagg - enhanced healing (in 10 - two out of three heals); tank keep saves under the Wave.
Electrostatic field
Raid damage F.1
Feigen, every ~3 sec: 2500 nature damage to everyone nearby - constant AoE pressure on his group.
Action: On Feigen's platform - AoE healer (Circle of Healing, Chain Heal); It’s superfluous not to stand close.
Polarity shift
Raid damage F.2
Cast 3 sec; for the first time 20 seconds after activation, then every 30 seconds. Each player randomly (50/50) receives a Positive or Negative charge. Players standing next to each other with the same charge mutually buff their damage (stacking buff - up to +10% for each neighbor), while players with different charges hit each other.
Action: “Minus” - to the left, “plus” - to the right (or vice versa - the main thing is to agree to the pool). After each cast, look at YOUR debuff, and not at your neighbors: if you change, you go along one common route (all clockwise or all over the edge of the platform).
Positive charge
Debuff F.2
Contact of opposite charges: 4500 nature damage with ticks to nearby players with opposite charges (spell 28062 / 28085). One lost player in someone else's pile adds up half the group in a couple of ticks.
Action:Never cross someone else's pile; without charge - do not approach anyone. Stand close together with your friends within 10 m for the damage stack buff.
Chain Lightning
Raid damage F.2
Every ~15 sec: lightning strikes a target, jumping up to 5 targets and increasing nature damage.
Action: Squeezed with frailty; the raid already costs two heaps - just keep people above half HP.
Ball lightning
Other F.2
If there is no one within a melee radius of the boss, Thaddius shoots top aggro with ball lightning for 17,500–22,500 nature damage.
Action: The tank does not leave the melee radius under any circumstances; When a tank dies, the next most dangerous tank instantly runs into miles.
Berserk
Berserk F.2
Exactly 6 minutes after activating Thaddius: damage +500%, movement speed +150% - wipe. The boss's HP is huge, this is a tough DPS check on the level of Patchwork.
Action: Hiro/BL - after the first Polarity Shift (the sated will have time to roll back under the second). Keeping everyone alive: Stack buffs are more important than personal DPS.

Positioning

Phase 1: two equal groups (tank + heals + dps equally) on the platforms of Stalagg (left) and Feugen (right), bosses tank at their tesla coils, do not take them away from the platforms. Phase 2: Jump to the lower platform; "cons" to the left of the boss, "pros" to the right, both piles compactly within 10 m of each other.

🛡 Tank
P1: tanks stand at the coils and after each Magnetization they accept someone else’s boss on the spot. P2: main tank keeps Thaddius in the center and doesn't go out of melee radius (aka Ball Lightning); when changing its charge, the tank simply turns the boss with its back to its side.
✨ Healer
P1: healers are divided by platforms (Stalaggu - more healing under the Wave of Force, Feugen - AoE healing under the Electrostatic Field) and transfer targets after each tank swap. P2: stand in their heaps according to the charge, keep the raid under Chain Lightning.
⚔DD
P1: divide equally and watch the synchronization of the bosses' HP - if you are ahead of your second group, slow down. P2: everyone stands in a group in their polarity, close to the boss (the hitbox is huge - miles and range can stand at one point) and pump; changing sides - only according to your own debuff and along the general route.

Role Tips

🛡 Tips for the tank
  • P1: do not drag Stalagg and Feugen away from the Tesla coils - breaking the circuit charges the coil with Tesla shock throughout the raid.
  • P2: not a second outside the mile-radius -Ball lightning 17–22k in range more expensive than any repositioning.
  • The DPS that has surpassed the tank in terms of threat on mini-bosses will fly away onMagnetization will die instead - watch your group’s aggro.
  • After the jump, instantly pick up Thaddius: firstPolarity shift will arrive in 20 seconds.
✨ Tips for healer
  • P1: after each tank swap (every 20 sec), instantly change the healing target - the arriving tank is already drained of HP.
  • Wave of Power Stalagga - windows of double damage to the tank, keep BoL/shields/hots under them in advance.
  • P2: change of side according to charge - with a heal on yourself; in a crowd it’s easy to catch a couple of ticks of 4500 while neighbors are jogging.
  • Don’t rush anyone into a pile: a player raised without a charge catches damage from everyone - the rush is on the sidelines, the player waits for the next shift.
⚔ DD Tips
  • Stand as closely together as possible with your polarity: the damage stack buff is the reason why the dps on Thaddius is 2-3 times higher than usual, without it you won’t be able to complete it in 6 minutes.
  • Look at your debuff after EVERY cast, and don’t follow the crowd: not everyone’s polarity changes.
  • Do not summon Pets and Mirror Doubles on mini-bosses - they run away to someone else’s platform and stretch out the bosses.
  • Hiro - after the firstPolarity shift; the second will go to the end of the timer.
