WoW Races: Racial Abilities and What They Give

Racial abilities almost never decide the outcome of a battle, but in bottlenecks they provide a noticeable advantage. Let's look at what really matters.
Alliance
- Man — “Every man for himself” (removal of control effects). One of the best abilities for PvP in general.
- Night Elf - Shadow Meld (disengagement) and increased evasion: a great choice for Rogues and Druids.
- Dwarf - “Stone Form” (removing bleeding and poisons) - a classic against horns.
- Gnome — “Escape Artist” removes slows and hold effects, plus a bonus to intelligence.
- Draenei - “Gift of the Naaru” (healing yourself and allies) and a bonus to accuracy - useful for casters.
Horde
- Undead — “Will of the Forsaken” removes fear, sleep and charm - a powerful bonus against priests and warlocks.
- Orc — “Bloody Fury” (+damage and resistance), plus reduction in the duration of stuns.
- Tauren — “Thunderstride” (area stun) is the only mass stun of the race.
- Troll — “Berserk” (+attack/cast speed) — strong bursts for any fighter.
- Blood Elf — “Mana Flow”: area silence plus resource return.
Neutral
Pandaren — “Hope” and “Epicureanism” (bonus to characteristics from food),Draktir — role selection and flight,Landman — “Reliable stone” (protective bonus).
Conclusion
For PvP, look at the ability to remove control and burst (human, undead, orc, troll). For PvE - for passive bonuses to the main characteristic and accuracy. If you are a casual player, choose a race based on its appearance: a difference of 1-2% in damage is not worth ruining your mood.
