Leatherworking 1–450: leveling up (WotLK)

Leveling up Leatherworking from 1 to 450 on WotLK 3.3.5a: where to get leather, what to sew in sections and profession bonuses (bracer overlays).

Briefly

The leatherworker makes armor for agility/strength, bags and bracer linings (Fur Lining is the best enchantment for bracers). You need leather - from Skinning or auction.

Materials

• Light/Medium/Heavy/Thick/Rugged Leather - 1–300
• Knothide Leather - 300-375
• Borean Leather, Heavy Borean, Arctic Fur - 375–450

Pumping by segments

1–100

• Handstitched items, Light Armor Kit - Light/Medium Leather.

100–200

• Fine/Embossed Leather Kits, Heavy Armor Kit.

200–300

• Thick/Rugged stuff, Nightscape/… sets.

300–375

• Knothide sets, Nether items, BC overlays.

375–450

• Borean sets, Frosthide/... WotLK items, final - on northern skin and Arctic Fur.

Tips

• With Skinning the skin is almost free - I recommend the bundle.
• Fur Lining (liners) sell to the raid - a hot commodity.

Summary

Cheap profession with your own skin; 1–450 goes quickly.
