How to choose a race in WoW: PvP, PvE and play style

The race gives 1–3% effectiveness: this is not much, but in PvP in the Arena percentage can decide. Let's break it down by purpose.
If you are playing PvP
- Removing control — the most valuable: undead, human, dwarf (bleeding/poisons), gnome (slows).
- Stability: orc (reducing stuns) - against control combos.
- Burst: troll (acceleration), orc (+damage), mag'har.
- Silence: blood elf - in mass PvP, removes castes from an entire group.
If you are playing PvE
- Accuracy and a bonus to the main characteristic - draenei, dwarf, nightborne.
- Vitality - tauren (health), dwarf (resistance).
- Useful to the group - blood elf (mana), draenei (healing).
If you play “for yourself”
Choose by appearance and stories: a difference of 1% damage is not worth hundreds of hours of playing with your least favorite race. The exception is if you go to the top PvP team: they choose “by the numbers”.
Common error
People choose their race based on "ability strength" but don't take into account their class. For example, “Shadow Fusion” is useless for a mage (he has “Invisibility”), and “Stone Form” on a warrior duplicates “Defense Shield”. Look at the race + class connection.
