Review

Glut is a giant necrodog and the third boss of the Abomination Quarter. They enter the pen through the green pipe after Grobbulus, jumping down - the boss will aggro immediately as soon as the first person is below. The battle is built around three things: a tank swap under stacks of Mortal Wound, a kite of tenacious Zombie Snacks away from the boss, and a timed Extermination that drops the HP of the entire raid and zombies by up to 5%. Glut eats every zombie that reaches him, restoring 5% of his maximum HP.

General tips
  • The pool is automatic when jumping into the pen - enter the whole raid at the same time; It is impossible to raise a raid after a wipe inside.
  • The extermination is carried out according to a timer (~110 sec in 10, ~90 sec in 25) - set the timer in the DBM and set raid targets in advance.
  • The enrage is removed by the Hunt's Pacifying Shot - assign a duty officer, the boss enters him every ~22 seconds.
  • Each zombie eaten heals the boss by 5% of the maximum HP - zombies that reach them actually reset your DPS.
  • Before the Extermination, do not hit the zombies: they have too much HP. After that, they are at 5% and die in one or two hits.

Combat phases

Phase 1 The cycle of combat - from Extermination to Extermination Entire battle, cycle ~110 sec (10) / ~90 sec (25)

BetweenExterminations: tanks are swapped under stacksMortal wound, kiter collects spawners every 10 secZombie Snacks and leads them away from the boss, the raid pumps the boss. ByExtermination the HP of all players and zombies drops to 5%: zombies ignore aggro and slowly walk towards Gluth - all the DPS instantly switches and finishes them off, healers massively raise the raid. Then the cycle repeats.

Abilities

Mortal wound
Tank
Every ~10 sec on the current tank: received treatment is reduced by 10%, stacks, hangs for 15 sec. By 5-6 stacks the tank becomes almost indestructible.
Action: Tank swap: the second tank taunts at 4-6 stacks, the first waits for the debuff to wear off and takes the boss back. Announce actions by voice.
Frenzy
Berserk
Every ~22 sec the boss goes into a frenzy: attack speed +25% and damage +25% for 8 sec.
Action: Can be removed with a Tranquilizing Shot - the hunt on duty shoots down immediately. Without hunting, tanks and healers have to use saves.
Extermination
Raid damage
Every ~110 sec (10) / ~90 sec (25): The health of all players and all living Zombie Snacks is reduced to exactly 5% of the maximum. After this, the zombies stop reacting to aggro and slowly move towards the boss to be eaten.
Action:All DPS instantly switches to zombies and finishes them off (heavy AoE per turn), heals massively raise the raid, primarily the tank. Before the Extermination, the kiter takes the zombies as far away as possible - this gives extra seconds to the DPS.
Zombie Chow
Other
Every 10 seconds, adds will spawn from the sewer grates at the entrance: 1 from the central grate in 10, 2 from three grates in 25. They have a lot of HP - killing them before the Extermination is pointless. The boss eats the zombie that reaches Glut, restoring 5% of the maximum health.
Action: A specially designated kiter (frost mage, hunt or off-tank) collects zombies and leads them to the end farthest from the boss, preventing himself from being hit. Not a single zombie should reach the boss.
Infected wound
Debuff
Debuff from Zombie Snacks: Physical damage taken increased by 100. per stack, hangs for 1 minute and stacks - the kiter who catches the blows quickly turns into a corpse.
Action: Kite without getting hit: slowdowns (Ice Trap, Frost Nova, Chains of Ice), distance and aggro removal. The Heels keep an eye on the kiter.
Berserk
Berserk
After 6 minutes of battle: all damage +500%, attack and movement speed +150%, immunity to taunts - wipe.
Action: 6 minutes is 3-4 cycles of Extermination; Make sure that the boss is not healed by zombies, otherwise you may not meet the timer.

Positioning

The raid jumps into the pen through the pipe at the same time - the battle begins instantly. The boss is tanked at the end of the hall farthest from the pipe, facing the gate and away from the raid. Zombies climb out of the grates near the landing site and kite along the side farthest from the boss.

🛡 Tank
The main tank and swap tank keep Gluth in place at the far end of the hall, rotating between Mortal Wound stacks. If a zombie kites a third tank, he collects them at the bars and takes them to the corner opposite from the boss.
✨ Healer
The heels are positioned so as to reach both the tanks and the kiter. One healer is assigned to the kiter. Before each Extermination - attacks on the entire raid, after - a massive heal with priority on the tank.
⚔DD
DPS is compact for the boss: after Extermination, all the zombies come to Glut on their own - the most convenient way to finish them off is with AoE right at the boss’s feet, without spreading around the hall.

Role Tips

🛡 Tips for the tank
  • Swap for 4–6 stacksMortal wound; Glut is tauntable without restrictions, making rotation easy.
  • A kite tank should not catch zombie attacks -Infected wound stacks and stacks it in seconds.
  • BeforeBy extermination The tank will also have 5% HP left - press the save and keep your heals ready.
  • Keep the boss strictly away from the raid and the kiter.
✨ Tips for healer
  • Extermination - main check: the entire raid at once by 5%. Hots in advance, NS/Circle of Healing/Prayers - immediately after.
  • Take into account the minus healing on the tank: the more stacksMortal wound, the sooner you start doing big heals.
  • Don't forget the kiter - random zombie hit with a couple of stacksInfected wound it hits very painfully.
  • AfterExtermination Raise the current tank first, then the raid.
⚔ DD Tips
  • Zombie beforeExtermination don't touch it - all the DPS goes to the boss.
  • ByExtermination — instant switch on zombies: each one that reaches the boss heals the boss by 5% and steals your progress.
  • Hunt with Pacifying Shot is required -Frenzy every 22 seconds.
  • Hiro/cd click on a clean window immediately after clearing zombies when the raid is raised.
