Addons for WoW 3.3.5: assembly for PvP and PvE

A good addon build doesn't play for you, but it removes unnecessary manual work.

Mandatory minimum

  • Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) — timers for boss abilities and shouts of “stand back!” It’s better not to go on a raid without it.
  • WeakAuras — indicators of procs, dots and cooldowns. A universal addon, set up once and last for years.
  • Bartender4 — action panels and binds to suit your taste.
  • Omen/Threat meter — threat control, critical for tanks and healers.

For PvE

  • Recount orSkada — look at your damage/healing and find rotation weaknesses.
  • AtlasLoot — what the boss drops and what chance it has.
  • Grid2 — compact group frames for healers.

For PvP

  • Gladius — arena frames: class, HP, enemy caste.
  • OmniBar — see enemy cooldowns used.
  • InterruptBar — remember when the opponent’s kick rolled back.

For leveling and peace

  • QuestHelper orQuestie— quest routes and points on the map.
  • GatherMate2 + Gatherer — mark grass, ore and chests so as not to run twice.
  • Auctioneer — auction prices and production estimates.

Tip: install addons one at a time and check FPS. On servers 3.3.5, some addons are outdated and eat frames - if there are drawdowns, turn off the counters, not the graphics.
